# Olea — Redesign Summary

## Overview
Complete static redesign of the Olea website. The original Squarespace site was a single
placeholder page with a hero image, cart link, and minimal metadata. This redesign builds
a warm, premium dinner-destination presence from the ground up.

## Design Direction
- **Family:** warm-hospitality
- **Typography:** Georgia serif (headings) + system-ui sans-serif (body)
- **Palette:** Cream (#faf4ec), parchment (#f0e6d8), espresso (#2c1810),
  terracotta (#c1694f), olive (#7a8b6e)
- **Layout:** Story-led hero, cozy content width, layered imagery

## Changes Made
1. **Hero** — Split layout with food photography, appetite-first headline, dual CTA buttons
2. **Story section** — Warm about copy, BYOB / cash-only / location trust tags
3. **Menu highlights** — Three-card layout (small plates, pastas, mains) with price ranges
4. **Signature band** — Dark espresso section reinforcing Olea's ethos (seasonal, BYOB, intimate)
5. **Gallery** — Photo-led atmosphere grid with food and interior imagery
6. **Location module** — Full address, hours grid, phone, Google Maps embed, CTA
7. **Footer** — Compact high-trust footer with contact info and social link
