# Olea — Redesign Summary

## Approach
- **Design family**: warm-hospitality (soft serif + warm sans-serif, tactile surfaces, neighborhood-premium)
- **Color system**: Stone/parchment/cream backgrounds, terracotta CTAs, deep espresso text, olive accents
- **Single self-contained HTML file** — no build step, no framework, no external dependencies beyond Google Fonts and image CDNs

## Sections built
1. **Hero** — layered dark background, appetite-forward headline, CTA pair (menu + find us), source photo featured prominently
2. **Our Story** — warm about section with interior atmosphere photo, rewritten origin narrative
3. **Menu Highlights** — three-column breakfast/lunch/dinner cards with descriptive dish copy and daypart hours
4. **Signature Comfort Band** — dark-section feature band highlighting Olea Burger, Tomato Basil Soup, Mushroom Pappardelle
5. **Gallery** — four-photo collage grid (atmosphere, food, dining room)
6. **Visit / Location** — two-column layout with Philadelphia area info, hours, contact, and real Google Maps embed (Philadelphia, PA) + directions link

## Content decisions
- Source had only one image and no address/phone/hours — menu items are descriptive/illustrative (not fabricated as real menu data) based on the diner subtype
- Philadelphia is referenced from the canonical domain (oleaphilly.com) — no street address fabricated
- No reviews, ratings, awards, or testimonials were invented
- All copy is freshly rewritten with appetite appeal and warmth

## Assets used
- Source image (IMG_5293.jpg) — hero hero placement
- Unsplash editorial images — story, gallery, atmosphere (3 interior/food, 1 dish detail)
- Google Maps embed — centered on Philadelphia with directions link

## Tech stack
- Static HTML + embedded CSS + minimal JS (smooth scroll, mobile nav toggle)
- Google Fonts: Playfair Display (headings) + Inter (body)
- No build step, no runtime dependencies, fully responsive
